SmackDown 07.06.2024

Finally, the Radiant Team has come back to Louisville, Kentucky! 🍗

I’m seriously wondering if the KFC Yum! Center lives up to its name—do they actually serve spicy chicken wings all over the place or not? Somebody please confirm that for me! While I wait for answers, let’s talk about what I expect from this SmackDown episode: the Bloodline drama continues with Kevin Owens in their sights. Cody Rhodes is likely to fire back at AJ Styles after that brutal attack. Grayson Waller better watch his mouth if he wants to survive Johnny Gargano tonight, and I’m hoping to see the Women’s Tag Team Champions in action. As for LA Knight—will he finally claim a U.S. Title shot, or does he have to silence Carmelo Hayes first? Let’s find out together!

Induction of Tonga Loa

Just like the good old days, The Bloodline kicked off SmackDown—though these days, it’s a very different version of the faction. No Jey, no Jimmy, and most importantly, no Roman Reigns. The current lineup is Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and now Tonga Loa. The one constant? The ever-nervous Wise Man, Paul Heyman. He took the mic and, clearly shaken, declared that until Roman Reigns returns, Solo is the Head of the Table. That got the whole arena chanting “We want Roman!”—music to my ears. 😌

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 1SmackDown 7.06.2024 - You can feel it—Solo isn’t just disrespecting Heyman, he’s sending a message straight to Roman. This is personal now.

And remember what I said months ago? When Roman was champion, people booed him like crazy—but I predicted that once he lost the title and took a break, fans would start begging for his return. And look where we are now: Cody’s champion, but everyone’s missing the Tribal Chief. Told you so.

Solo continued to follow Roman’s playbook, announcing Tama Tonga as his new Right Hand Man and officially inducting Tonga Loa into the faction. But it wasn’t a celebration for Heyman, who looked like he’d just seen a ghost. Then came Solo’s reminder—these two monsters saved him last week from Kevin Owens… and speaking of the devil, here comes KO himself!

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 2SmackDown 07.06.2024 - Samoan party going too smoothly? No worries—Kevin Owens will show up, break tables, throw fists, and kill the vibe real quick.

.Clearly, Kevin’s not afraid of a 3-on-1 fight—but he wasn’t alone for long. The Street Profits ran down to back him up, and with steel chairs in hand, they cleared the ring! Where’s Teddy Long when you need him? Because this smells like a six-man tag team main event waiting to happen! 🔥

Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair (C) vs. Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell

Every week, Jade and Bianca feel less like a real tag team. They still don’t have a joint entrance theme, no team name, and they walk out separately like two singles stars forced into a partnership. Honestly, they should consider vacating the belts and focusing on solo careers—because let’s be real, both women are top-tier singles competitors.

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 16SmackDown 07.06.2024 - Candice gave it her all, but nothing seemed to bring down the EST of WWE.

Tonight, they faced Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell again, the same duo they beat back at King and Queen of the Ring. Did anything change this time? Nope. If anything, the match ended even faster. Bianca looked fully healed, showing no signs of her leg injury, and when she got isolated early on, it didn’t matter—because once Jade tagged in, she unleashed a storm and wiped everyone out. Total destruction. The champs hit their tag team finisher, and that was it.

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 17SmackDown 07.06.2024 - Never take your eyes off the enemy—turning your back is asking to get blindsided.

Outside the ring, chaos brewed. The Unholy Union and the team of Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler were both watching—and after the match, they each grabbed a title, claiming their spot in line. But the alliance didn’t last long. A brawl broke out between the two teams, and that was a big mistake—because the real champs stormed back in, cleared the ring, and took back what’s theirs. 🏆 These two ladies may not feel like a tag team, but trust me—they’ll crush anyone who steps in their way.

Johnny Gargano vs. Grayson Waller (C)

It’s round two in the ongoing war between DIY and A-Town Down Under! Tommaso Ciampa already landed the first blow last week, and tonight his partner, Johnny Gargano, steps up to try and even the score before their potential tag team title match. Johnny Wrestling is fully fired up, and you can feel that hunger in his every move. 💥

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 16SmackDown 07.06.2024 - A devastating maneuver that left both competitors writhing in pain—double the impact, double the damage.

Outside the ring, Gargano pulls off a scary spot—dropping Waller right on the back of his head. That landing looked brutal for both of them, and the match instantly gained a heavier tone. Inside the ring, it’s pure wrestling excellence. Neither man is taking the clear lead, and I’m just sitting back, enjoying the technical clinic. Then… déjà vu. Just like last week, Grayson uses Austin Theory as a human shield—pulling him directly into the path of Johnny’s suicide dive! That moment of chaos gave Waller all the time he needed to hit his rolling Unprettier and steal the win.

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 17SmackDown 07.06.2024 - In a shocking turn of events, Grayson clawed the victory away from Johnny just when it seemed out of reach.

Yeah, it’s a win—but at what cost? I genuinely feel bad for Theory. That’s two weeks in a row he’s been sacrificed for Waller’s success. Sooner or later, Austin’s gotta open his eyes and realize: this cocky snake doesn’t need him—he’s just using him. And when that moment comes? Oh, I hope Theory punches Waller straight into next Tuesday.

The American Nightmare Wants Blood

All night, Cody Rhodes waited in the parking lot like a man possessed—on the hunt for AJ Styles. Nick Aldis tried to calm the champ down and even brought in security to avoid total chaos. But when AJ finally pulled in with his OC goons, Cody made a beeline for the ring—because security kept him from tearing Styles apart backstage. AJ got what he wanted… so will he step up or start running like a scared little punk?

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 18SmackDown 07.06.2024 - Rarely do we witness Cody consumed by such raw anger and visible frustration.

Rhodes didn’t hold back. He’s more furious than he ever was with Roman Reigns—and that’s saying something. His battle with Roman was about legacy and respect. This feud? It’s just about beating the living hell out of a guy he now sees as a coward. The fans chanted “AJ sucks!” and honestly, I couldn't agree more.

Styles came out smirking, surrounded by his hired goons, and issued a challenge for a title match at Clash at the Castle. Cody accepted, but he made it personal—this won't be any regular title bout. This will be… an “I Quit” Match! Ironically, the same phrase AJ tried to mock him with last week. Beautiful twist of fate. 😈

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 19SmackDown 07.06.2024 - Looks like the Phenomenal One pushed the right buttons and now Cody’s dancing to his tune.

Nick Aldis made it official, and while Cody still tried to fight his way through the security wall to get his hands on AJ, it just wasn’t happening tonight. Styles was grinning ear to ear, but trust me—he won’t be smiling after Clash. Cody looked absolutely unhinged. Their rivalry just went from slow-burn to 🔥 must-see. I seriously can’t wait for this match now!

LA Knight vs. Carmelo Hayes

Busy night for Nick Aldis—dude’s running SmackDown like Adam Pearce on Raw. Meanwhile, LA Knight is still hunting Logan Paul and the United States Championship. But Logan? Yeah, he’s too busy playing Tetris at home. So Knight jokes that maybe they should compete in that instead—because he’s a damn master at everything, including retro games. 🎮

Enter Carmelo Hayes, who just had to open his mouth. He said Knight talks a lot but doesn’t do anything. Big mistake. LA Knight’s response? Challenge accepted, kid. Let’s fight tonight!

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 20SmackDown 07.06.2024 - Melo kept it simple—slow the Megastar down, grind him out, and watch him fall apart by the end.

Hayes started strong, throwing down serious offense—but a vicious back body drop onto the commentary table shut that down quick. After that, LA Knight flipped the switch and had an answer for almost everything Carmelo tried. Hayes nearly stole the win after a big facebuster, but his failure to get the three-count messed with him mentally. That hesitation? Costly.

Knight capitalized with a pop-up powerslam, followed by his falling elbow, and then set up for the BFT. Hayes countered the finisher, but couldn’t escape a slick roll-up pin—classic LA Knight maneuver, and it gets the win. ✅

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 21SmackDown 07.06.2024 - Carmello’s usually got a hawk’s eye, but tonight he might as well have been shooting blindfolded!

After the match, Knight grabbed a mic and delivered one simple message: “Logan Paul, come to SmackDown—or I’ll bring SmackDown to your home… YEAH!” 🔥 Megastar energy. This was a great win for LA Knight, and Logan better stop stacking blocks and start stacking wins—because the storm is coming.

Bayley Clashes with the Number One Contender

Your champ is here—and she’s got something important to say. But she doesn’t get much time before Chelsea Green and Piper Niven interrupt. And by the way... Chelsea is looking 🔥 tonight. Still, the glam queen grabs the mic and flat-out calls Bayley a loser. You know what? In some weird way... I kinda get what she means. 😅'

Bayley doesn’t hold back. She says she respects Piper Niven—but not Chelsea, who hides behind the strength of a dominant partner. According to Bayley, Piper doesn’t need this glittery little sidekick to chase the title. If Niven really wanted a shot, she could’ve just asked like a grown woman instead of jumping the champ from behind. Fair point, champ.

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 22SmackDown 07.06.2024 - Chelsea Green looked really amazing tonight, didn’t she?

But hey, in WWE, some people think blindsiding the champion is the only way to get noticed. Bayley promises she’ll beat Piper in front of her own people at Clash at the Castle. 🎯

Then Piper finally speaks—and when she does, she sounds serious. The message is clear: Niven is a workhorse, one who’s traveled the world, from the UK to Japan, stacking up titles and building a name for herself long before Chelsea Green popped up in her life. Her confidence is real, and you can feel it. Meanwhile, Bayley looks… shaken. Like she’s trying to convince herself she’s ready.

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 23SmackDown 07.06.2024 - Do you notice the champ’s poker face when Piper talks about what’s coming at Clash at the Castle?

Thankfully for the champ, there’s no fight tonight—but make no mistake, this collision is coming. And something tells me Bayley may be walking into enemy territory with more than just the title on the line. 👀

Kevin Owens & The Street Profits vs. The Bloodline

Backstage, Solo Sikoa is furious and threatens Paul Heyman: make this a triple threat match, or he’ll throw him in a match against Tama Tonga. Wise Man’s decision? Yeah, let’s just say he ain’t lacing up boots tonight. 😂

The Bloodline trio—Solo, Tama Tonga, and Tanga Loa—head to the ring to face Kevin Owens and The Street Profits. Honestly, this didn’t look great for KO’s team. I mean, the Profits already lost to Tonga and Loa, so why would tonight go any differently?

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 24SmackDown 07.06.2024 - Tama Tonga dominated the ring with a fierce performance in this match.

Tama starts strong, taking on both Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford with his signature chaos. But when Solo tags in, the match immediately shifts. Curiously, Tanga Loa remains untouched at ringside the entire match. Still a mystery to me, while Tama continues to shine with his aggression and speed.

Then comes the Prizefighter, flipping the momentum. He nearly pins the new “Head of the Table” after blocking the Samoan Spike and nailing Solo with a Stunner! The Bloodline barely survives, thanks to Tonga’s quick save.

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 25SmackDown 07.06.2024 - Kevin Owens wasted no time giving the new Head of the Table a “welcome gift” — his signature Stunner!

But Solo’s done playing nice. Maybe he realized they weren’t winning clean, because he grabs a steel chair and blasts Montez Ford—causing a DQ. Weird strategy for a team that begged for this match in the first place.

Then came the real message. Sikoa hit Dawkins with a Samoan Spike, Ford tried to save his partner, but Solo went full Roman cosplay and speared him in half. Together, they destroyed Kevin Owens… and then came the final blow: 🔱 A Shield-style Triple Powerbomb through the commentary table! 🔱

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 26SmackDown 07.06.2024 - When did you last see that epic move? Feels like ages ago. I really miss The Shield.

That was massive. Solo Sikoa is clearly trying to be Roman Reigns now—not just follow him. And with domination like this… maybe it’s time the Tribal Chief starts paying attention to what’s brewing down on SmackDown. Because this Bloodline? It’s evolving—and it’s terrifying.

Final Thoughts

Well guys, I honestly can’t tell you which show I liked more this week—Raw or SmackDown. Both had their moments, but I’m feeling a little warmer toward the blue brand. This episode was full of emotions, and nearly every rivalry felt deeply personal. So let’s break it down:

😰 How Long Can the Wise Man Survive in the New Bloodline?

The show opened with The Bloodline, and it’s clear—Paul Heyman is under serious pressure. He no longer feels confident or respected around Solo Sikoa and his new mercenaries. Every day spent beside them seems like a walk on thin ice. When Solo threatened to throw him into a match with Tama Tonga, you could see the fear. I honestly believe it’s just a matter of time before Heyman tries to walk away from this new Bloodline… but make no mistake, that decision is going to cost him—a lot.

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 3SmackDown 07.06.2024 -Feels like Solo's about to pick his own Wise Man soon… and if that’s the case, where does that leave Paul Heyman in all of this?

💥 Triple Threat Incoming
It was no secret that Indi and Candice were going to lose. I expected someone to interfere, and of course, both hungry teams arrived on SmackDown to make a statement. But what did they show us? That the champions are still on top and don’t care how many challengers come their way. A triple threat match is always tricky, and there’s a chance Bianca and Jade could lose the titles accidentally. But if there’s a rematch under regular rules, I’m 95% sure they’ll beat both teams clean.

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 30SmackDown 07.06.2024 - Blindsided or not, the champs are still on their feet—fired up and ready to go again.

🧠 Waller's Mind Games
Last week Tommaso won over Austin thanks to Grayson Waller. This time, he sacrificed Theory again to take out Johnny Wrestling and get the win. Maybe Austin believes he's doing what’s necessary to hold the titles, but in reality, Waller is only thinking about himself. This alliance won’t last long—sooner or later, Austin’s going to wake up.

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 28SmackDown 07.06.2024 - Interesting—when will Austin realize that Waller is using him blindly?

🔥 One Last Shot for The Phenomenal One
It was obvious that AJ wasn’t going to wait quietly in line for another title shot. He could’ve asked Cody directly, and Rhodes probably would’ve accepted. But Styles chose the path of a heel, and honestly, it makes things more exciting. We haven’t seen a match like this since Edge vs. Bálor, right? That one was emotional and rare—just like this one promises to be.

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 29SmackDown 07.06.2024 - This new, ruthless AJ Styles will use any advantage he can to break his opponent down—physically and mentally.

🎯 Megastar Eyes the Maverick
This match was coming for weeks. HIM kept running his mouth and drawing LA Knight’s attention. Now he’s been pinned—without even taking a BFT. With that roadblock cleared, LA Knight can focus on his true goal: the U.S. Championship. Last year, he went after Roman Reigns, but Logan Paul? He’s strong, sneaky, and flashy—but I believe the Megastar can shock the world. YEAH!

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 30SmackDown 07.06.2024 - It seems likely that, before long, the USA Champion could find himself stepping into Carmello’s shoes.

🎤 Piper Steps Up
For the first time, Chelsea and Piper didn’t attack—they actually talked. And it worked. I was instantly interested the moment Piper spoke. Confident, serious, dangerous—this Scottish powerhouse is ready for the gold. If Bayley survives at Clash, it’ll be nothing short of a miracle.

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 31SmackDown 07.06.2024 - Is Piper destined to be the new champion, with Chelsea standing tall as her powerful voice? The answer’s coming very soon!

🩸 Who Can Stop the New Bloodline?
Kevin Owens and the Street Profits may have won the match, but the real winners were Solo Sikoa and the Tonga brothers. Without hesitation, they destroyed KO in a Shield-style beatdown. Week by week, Solo is repeating Roman’s steps, gaining more power and control. One day, he’ll pay the price. But right now? He’s enjoying the spotlight and domination.

SmackDown 07.06.2024 post image 32SmackDown 07.06.2024 - That chilling image says everything—just take a close look at the sheer fear on Paul’s face.

The Blue Brand keeps doing what it does best—great action, good storytelling, and constant surprises. I’m not losing interest at all, and I’m following every move with huge excitement. What will Kevin do next week? And will Logan Paul finally show up to answer LA Knight? I’m really curious. The next stop is Raw, and we’ve got plenty to take care of. See you soon, guys! 👊🔥
