SmackDown 24.05.2024
Finally, the Radiant Team has come back to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia!
The legendary Jeddah Super Dome is hosting tonight’s episode of SmackDown, and it’s going to be absolutely massive! We’ve got the finals for both the Queen and King of the Ring tournaments, plus a face-off between Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul just one night before their match! I also expect to see LA Knight, Carmelo Hayes, and probably Baron Corbin in action. We're in a beautiful and wealthy city, so the last Blue Brand show before the PLE better deliver something epic! Let’s dive into it!
Queen of the Ring – Semifinal: Bianca Belair (C) vs. Nia Jax
Triple H kicked things off with a huge announcement: the winners of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will receive world title shots at SummerSlam! That’s a brilliant decision and gives the crown some real meaning again — unlike past years (yeah, I’m looking at you, Xavier Woods 👀). So tonight, it’s down to EST vs. the Irresistible Force. No matter who wins, I honestly don’t believe Lyra can take the crown tomorrow… though after what she pulled against Iyo Sky, I’m starting to doubt my own logic.
Nia Jax came in with a huge advantage — Bianca is still nursing a serious knee injury, and that could decide everything. Bianca knew out-powering Jax would be suicide, so she smartly relied on her striking game and speed to tire Nia out. Great tactic! But Jax is a tank, and one brutal headbutt dropped the champ like a sack of bricks. At this point, all Bianca could do was survive and pray that Jax would self-destruct… but I didn’t see her lifting Jax for the K.O.D. No way. Well, I was wrong 😳! Bianca countered the Annihilator with a massive Powerbomb that shook the ring! But the knee gave out again, and Nia, like a shark smelling blood, ruthlessly targeted it. At one point, I seriously thought Bianca’s leg would snap 😨.
Smackdown 24.05.2024 - That’s the face of doom. The final sight before everything goes dark.
In the end, Bianca couldn’t land the K.O.D., and the match ended with a crushing Annihilator. Nia Jax moves on to face Lyra Valkyria tomorrow… and honestly? I have zero doubts about who’s walking out with the crown. Great heart from Bianca 💔, but the injury was too much. After the match, Nia grabbed the mic and promised to bulldoze Lyra just like she did Bianca. And you know what? I actually believe her.
The Grayson Waller Effect: LA Knight
Tag champs Waller and Theory were in the ring for a new edition of the Grayson Waller Effect, and tonight’s special guest was supposed to be LA Knight… but Carmelo Hayes had other plans 😏.
Theory wasn’t thrilled, but Waller was oddly into the idea of hosting Melo instead. They started trash-talking LA Knight — and calling him a loser?? Bad move, boys. Really bad. That’s like asking to be powerbombed through the announce table 😬.
Did these three clowns seriously think LA would just sit backstage and let them run their mouths? No chance in hell! 🔥
LA Knight stormed down to the ring ready to throw hands. And honestly, it looked risky — 3-on-1 isn’t smart math. But LA doesn’t care about odds. He made it clear that he doesn’t give a damn about the tag champs, and as for Carmelo? Let’s just say he’s not even worth wiping off his boots. YEAH.
The trio jumped LA, but I KNEW backup was coming. Sure enough, the Street Profits — still fuming after being robbed last week — charged in and cleared the ring! The crowd’s fired up, and this has “match incoming” written all over it. LET’S FIGHT!
LA Knight & The Street Profits vs. Carmelo Hayes & A-Town Down Under (C)
Thanks to Nick Aldis, we got ourselves a match — and Jeddah was lit for this one 🔥! The action kicked off with Montez Ford vs. Carmelo Hayes, and these two have unfinished business for sure. The babyfaces dominated early — the chemistry and speed were on point 💨💪.
Of course, the heels tried to cheat (shocker), attacking LA’s partners on the outside. But the Megastar wasn’t having any of it and went full beast mode, cleaning the ring with insane energy 😤. He nearly won it solo, but Hayes broke the pin at the last millisecond. Didn't matter. After a BFT from LA, Ford hit the Frog Splash on Waller for the 1-2-3! 💥🌟
SmackDown 24.05.2024 - Beating the champs? Now that’s a serious morale boost for the Street Profits!
This was a huge win for the Profits, and it looks like they might be getting another shot at the tag titles real soon. As for LA Knight? Oh yeah, this thing with Carmelo Hayes is just getting started… and I am HERE for it.
Nightmare vs Maverick – One Last Face-Off Before PLE
Cody Rhodes is in the house, and the Jeddah crowd welcomes him with warmth. Is it because they truly love the man? Or is it because he's the one who finally stopped the historic title reign of Roman Reigns? 🤔 I’d say it’s 50/50—but either way, Cody must build his own legacy, not just live in the ruins of the Roman Empire.
That said, in this upcoming battle with Logan Paul, I am 100% on Cody's side. Logan remains one of the most unpleasant characters in WWE today. 😤 The disrespect started early—right from when the U.S. Champion interrupted Cody’s iconic “What do you wanna talk about?” moment. Logan’s arrogance is off the charts. He once again claimed he’s smarter, better, faster, and stronger in the ring than Cody Rhodes. But who is he trying to convince—us or himself?
SmackDown 24.05.2024 - Pretty awkward moment when you get caught red-handed.
Cody didn't hold back, calling Logan nothing more than a “cosplayer of a professional wrestler.” 🎭🔥 Just before the show, Cody and Logan had a confrontation where Paul “gave up” his brass knuckles to Michael Cole. But Cody wasn’t buying that act. He insisted the ref do a proper check—and Logan, of course, tried to play games by requesting Cody be checked first. Classic deflection.
And guess what? Cody was clean... but Logan got caught red-handed! 😱 A weapon in his pocket! Logan Paul exposed as a liar and a cheat. Just like a guilty coward, he ran away crying like a baby—after PROMISING he'd beat Cody clean. What a joke.
In the end, Cody delivered a brutal lecture on what it means to be a real champion—and promised to beat Logan so badly, he’ll never be the same again. Paul made the Nightmare mad, and that’s on him. 👊
Bayley (C) vs Chelsea Green
Last week, Chelsea Green’s long tongue got her into trouble—and now she’s facing the Women’s Champion. It’s a huge opportunity for Chelsea... but to be honest, Bayley’s title reign feels kind of pointless right now. Too sweet, too nice—almost sickening. 😒 And with Nia Jax lurking, it’s hard to see Bayley holding that title for long. Tonight, the question was simple: How long can Chelsea last? And how much damage will Piper Niven inflict at ringside?
Surprisingly, Green started the match very aggressively, even scoring a close 2-count early on! She was fired up, and Bayley had no offense going at all. After hitting a Rough Ryder—yes, the move made famous by her husband—Chelsea still couldn’t secure the win. Her second attempt backfired hard, though, and Bayley turned it into a Powerbomb followed by a Rose Plant. Boom. Match over. Good attempt, Chelsea... but Bayley only needed two moves to shut it all down. Meh. I really don’t like these types of matches.
SmackDown 24.05.2024 - Bayley struck with a beautifully timed Rose Plant to snatch the victory!
Right after the bell, Piper Niven stormed the ring and absolutely obliterated Bayley with multiple slams and a crushing Senton. Message received: Piper is ready to take that title. And if that’s what Piper can do... what happens when Bayley meets Nia Jax?
King of the Ring Semi-Finals: Randy Orton vs Tama Tonga
The time has come. The Legend Killer is here, and he’s ready to settle the score with the dangerous Tama Tonga. Backstage, Paul Heyman nervously asked why Solo Sikoa would recruit such a chaotic force—a man Roman Reigns would never accept into the Bloodline. Sikoa simply replied: “Because I bring damage and chaos.” ☠️ Let’s see if that chaos can overcome the Viper... or if the Bloodline will fail to reach the finals.
SmackDown 24.05.2024 - Tama Tonga made sure Orton’s injury took a serious hit in this match.
Oh, and by the way—Gunther is watching from the front row, scouting his potential opponent for the King of the Ring finale. 👑 Tama attacked fast, wasting no time in ambushing Orton. But Randy quickly countered with a fallaway slam and slammed him into the ring post. Viper-style punishment followed—cold, calculated, and personal. Randy’s been waiting three weeks for this.
Orton nearly put Tonga through the Arabic announce table, but the Mad Dog escaped at the last second and smashed Randy’s injured knee into the steel steps. From there, Tonga went full predator, targeting the knee with surgical precision. It’s clear the guy did his homework—he countered nearly every Orton move and even locked in a suffocating sleeper hold.
SmackDown 24.05.2024 - Solo’s attempt to assist his partner didn’t go as planned and hurt them both.
But Viper isn’t afraid to play dirty either. Outside the ring, Randy raked the eyes and smashed Tama into the commentary desk. Even then, Tonga wouldn’t quit—fighting back like a rabid animal. He almost stole the win with help from Solo Sikoa... but then, RKO OUTTA NOWHERE! 💥
SmackDown 24.05.2024 - You never stand a chance to rise after the most feared three letters: RKO!
Randy Orton wins! Revenge achieved. But it didn’t end there. Solo Sikoa snapped and delivered a brutal Samoan Spike to Orton. It looked like the end... until Kevin Owens made his return! 🔥 KO charged the ring and protected his friend, sending Solo and Tama packing. This war with the Bloodline? Far from over.
Final Thoughts
First-ever SmackDown in Jeddah was a banger! 🔥 The crowd was loud, passionate, and clearly full of real wrestling fans. The matches delivered solid hype, and now the stakes heading into the PLE are higher than ever
👑 Is Nia Jax your future Queen of the Ring?
Just like I predicted—Nia Jax bulldozed through Bianca Belair and punched her ticket to the finals, where she’ll collide with Lyra Valkyria. Sure, Lyra’s trying to act fearless, but deep down, she knows she’s about to get steamrolled by the Irresistible Force. 💥
This tournament wasn’t just about power—Jax showed smart strategy too, like when she baited Jade Cargill into a DQ. Bianca's loss was predictable but fair, and as tag champ, she should shift her focus to defending her titles. Meanwhile, either Lyra or Jax is going straight for that Women’s Championship—and my money’s on Nia making history. 🏆
🎤 LA Knight just shut down Hayes
Their beef started last week, and after tonight, it's only getting spicier. LA Knight and Carmelo Hayes can’t stand each other, and this little brawl is about to explode into a full-on war. Who’ll come out on top? I don’t know yet, but let’s be real—I’m 100% backing the Megastar. YEAH! 🔥
SmackDown 24.05.2024 - Tonight, the good guys are on top — but will the momentum carry into the PLE?
😈 Is Logan scared of the Nightmare?
Logan Paul talks big, but acts scared. Cody Rhodes called him a tourist last week, and tonight the USA Champ pretty much proved it. If you really plan to beat Cody clean, why are you stuffing knucks in your pocket? That just made him look weak and desperate. 🥴 Cody’s locked in, and I totally believe him when he says he’ll walk out victorious. I expect a dirty fight, loaded with Logan’s cheap tricks, but in the end… Cross Rhodes will crush the Maverick, and Cody will stay on top. 💪
😐 Bayley—the most forgettable champion in WWE?
Since her face turn and title win, Bayley’s been doing absolutely nothing. She had feuds with Naomi and Tiffany Stratton, but let’s be honest… I remember none of it. Now she’s got Chelsea Green and Piper Niven on her case—and Piper just flattened her like a pancake.
Let’s be real, if Niven doesn’t take the title, Nia Jax probably will after winning Queen of the Ring. Bayley was way more exciting as a heel in Damage CTRL. This face run? Total failure. She’s sweet, smiley… and completely bland.
🐍 Randy Orton finally got his revenge
The Viper finally put down Tama Tonga, and that RKO was long overdue. With the Bloodline failing to reach the finals, I’m left wondering—what’s next for them?
But now, Randy’s got Kevin Owens by his side, and they’re clearly ready for war. Gunther was watching closely, and we all know he’ll target Orton’s bad knee at the PLE. If you ask me, Ring General’s game plan is locked in—and he’s looking to wear the King’s crown next. 👑
The show wrapped up, and now all eyes are on PLE tomorrow! No doubt it’s going to be one hell of a night, packed with heart, excitement, and unforgettable moments. Can’t wait—it's almost here!
