Raw 29.04.2024

Whoo-hoo! The RadiantGame Team has arrived in Kansas City, Missouri! 🥳
Tonight’s show is coming to you live from the beautiful T-Mobile Center — a perfect arena for big moments and even bigger drama. On the card: a chaotic tag match featuring Judgment Day, Jey Uso, Andrade, and Ricochet, a celebration from The Man, and maybe a new challenger will emerge. Gunther is out for blood after The New Day disrespected him last week, and of course, it’s Day Two of the WWE Draft — and things are about to get very interesting. So let’s dive right into the action!

The Man Kicks Off Monday Night Raw

Welcome your new Women’s World Champion, Becky Lynch!
The Man reminded everyone that Kansas City is where she was born — in blood, grit, and glory. Becky thanked the fans for their love, but she made it clear: this isn’t just about celebration — she’s ready for her next fight. That’s when Liv Morgan interrupted. 😈

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 1Raw 29.04.2024 - It’s clear Liv Morgan is laser-focused on challenging Becky Lynch for the gold.

Liv declared herself the next in line, saying she’s on a “Revenge Tour” and proudly pointed out that she accomplished something Becky couldn't at WrestleMania — she got rid of Rhea Ripley. Okay, sure... we’ll just ignore how she did it. Either way, the result is Mami being out of action, and Liv is now more confident than ever. Her eyes are locked on everything — and she won’t stop until it’s all hers.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 2Raw 29.04.2024 - Morgan must be fearless or out of her mind to go up against Nia Jax tonight.

But then... why is Nia Jax here?!
She’s a SmackDown Superstar — what is she still doing on Raw? Nia made it clear that tonight is her last night on the red brand and she wants to go out with a bang before she becomes the SmackDown Women’s Champion. Morgan didn’t back down. She dropkicked Nia and accepted the challenge for later tonight! We’ve got a fight on our hands!

WWE Draft – Round One

Don’t forget — it’s Draft Night! And Stephanie McMahon herself is here to kick off the second round of brand selections.

  • Raw selects: Gunther & Ludwig Kaiser (Imperium) and Damage CTRL

  • SmackDown selects: Jade Cargill and Kevin Owens

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 3Raw 29.04.2024 - With confidence and flair, Stephanie McMahon opened the Draft by selecting Imperium for Raw!

Nice choices all around, though the numbers are a little uneven — Raw gets six superstars while SmackDown only adds two. Still, it’s shaping up to be an exciting shake-up for both brands!

Gunther vs. Xavier Woods – Humiliating Loss to the Reigning King

Last week, Woods talked a little too much trash — and now he’s paying the price in a match against the Ring General himself. This match also gives us a preview of what the King of the Ring tournament might look like, with both men set to compete in it.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 4Raw 29.04.2024 - In this footage, I have no doubt who the real King is around here.

Woods had a strong start, dodging many of Gunther’s attacks, but eventually, one massive chop stopped him dead. From there, it was a slow and calculated dissection from Gunther. The crowd winced with every slap as Gunther blasted the soul out of Woods’ chest

Things got worse when Xavier’s leg got trapped in the ropes, and Gunther focused in like a shark smelling blood. He destroyed Woods’ knee, grinding him down with methodical precision. At one point, Kofi Kingston looked ready to throw in the towel, but Woods refused to quit.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 5Raw 29.04.2024 - The Ring General showed no mercy after last week's humiliation, teaching Woods a lesson he won’t forget anytime soon.

After locking in a Boston Crab followed by an STF, Gunther finally forced a submission.

This was utter destruction. Woods learned a harsh lesson tonight, and Gunther proved once again why he's one of the most dominant forces in WWE.

WWE Draft – Round Two

For Round Two of the Draft, we had some unexpected energy as United States Champion Logan Paul showed up with his wild sidekick iShowSpeed.

  • Raw selects: CM Punk and Braun Strowman!

  • SmackDown selects: The Pride and Tiffany Stratton

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 6Raw 29.04.2024 - Logan Paul seemed to enjoy himself while announcing new superstars for the WWE Draft.

Whoa! 😲 Now those are some great picks! And finally... Braun Strowman is back?! It’s been ages since we saw the Monster Among Men — the red brand just got way more dangerous.

Logan Paul Confronts Jey Uso

The U.S. Champ can’t keep Jey Uso’s name out of his mouth. Once again, Logan stood in the ring throwing insults at the YEET Master — but of course, Jey didn’t let that slide and came straight to the ring.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 7Raw 29.04.2024 - Looks like we had a bit of miscommunication here, boys!

Logan, being the “smart” guy he is, called in backup — Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh from The Judgment Day. Jey was outnumbered, and the ambush began. Logan then pulled out a pair of brass knuckles to finish the job… but accidentally smashed JD right in the face instead! 😆

Jey couldn’t stop laughing. I thought someone had to come save him... and guess who did?

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 8Raw 29.04.2024 - The time has come… to TRY THESE HANDS!

BRAUN STROWMAN marched to the ring like a runaway freight train!  The Monster Among Men is back — and he’s got his sights locked on Logan Paul and the U.S. Title. Business is picking up, folks!

Sami Zayn (c) vs Bronson Reed – Intercontinental Championship

Before his match, Sami Zayn got some sweet revenge backstage, delivering a Helluva Kick straight to Chad Gable’s face. With that out of the way, the champ stepped into the ring to defend his title against the colossal Bronson Reed.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 9Raw 29.04.2024 - I can see that Bronson Reed is highly motivated to capture his first title on the main roster.

Heading into this match, these two were tied 1–1 in their rivalry, so tonight would be the tiebreaker. Reed came in looking absolutely monstrous — tossing Sami around with various brutal powerbombs that looked like they could crush a truck.

But Sami, powered by pure heart and will, refused to stay down. Just when it looked like he was out, Reed found himself stuck in the corner, giving Sami the perfect opening to land a Helluva Kick! But just as Sami went for the pin…

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 10Raw 29.04.2024 - Make no mistake—Gable’s hunger for championship gold hasn’t faded one bit!

Chad Gable interfered! 😡
He suplexed Sami and caused a DQ finish, continuing his torment with a painful Ankle Lock. Then Reed got involved too, hitting Tsunami to lay out the champ.

Gable, ever the “genius,” acted surprised that Reed didn’t like the interference — and paid the price with a fireman’s suplex from the big man. In the end, only Bronson Reed stood tall.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 11Raw 29.04.2024 - Reed reminded Chad in the harshest way possible—he’s the roadblock between him and the Intercontinental gold.

We can all see where this is going: a Triple Threat match is coming, and it’s going to be chaos.

WWE Draft – Round Three

The third round was announced by Hall of Famers John “Bradshaw” Layfield and Ron Simmons!

  • Raw selects: The LWO, Carlito, and Drew McIntyre

  • SmackDown selects: Legado del Fantasma and Shinsuke Nakamura

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 12Raw 29.04.2024 - A huge announcement from the WWE Hall of Fame revealed more exciting Draft picks for both SmackDown and Raw.

Interesting choices here. Are we still pretending Carlito is part of the LWO?  Either way, it looks like the Latino World Order vs. Legado feud has come to an end — they’re headed to separate brands.

And how’s Drew McIntyre feeling about getting drafted after CM Punk? You can tell... he’s absolutely obsessed and spiraling.

Drew McIntyre is Losing His Mind

Immediately after being drafted, Drew McIntyre stormed out, raging over what he called “stupid and illogical decisions.” But it wasn’t over yet — the real mind games had only just begun. Suddenly, CM Punk’s music hit, and Punk appeared way up in the crowd, on the tron, calling Drew a “little bitch.” 😬

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 13Raw 29.04.2024 - Say hello to your daddy, Drew!

That was it — Drew snapped. He tore off backstage, hunting for Punk like a madman. The Scottish Warrior is completely unraveling, and Punk is living rent-free in his head.

Maxxine Dupri vs Candice LeRae – Another Sad Loss

This was a big match for Maxxine Dupri, especially after Chad Gable once again harassed the entire Alpha Academy backstage, demanding nothing but victories tonight. No surprise he's cranky after getting flattened by Bronson Reed earlier.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 14Raw 29.04.2024 - Maxxine probably could have won tonight—if only she had been fully focused on the task.

Maxxine actually started strong with some impressive offense — even reversing the Caterpillar and locking in a solid Ankle Lock, Gable-style!  I really thought this would be the end for Candice… But outside the ring, Indi Hartwell blindsided Ivy Nile, distracting Maxxine just long enough for Candice to steal the win.

Dupri had a great showing, but she still has a lot to learn in this ruthless business. The dirty wins continue for Candice and Indi, and now I’m curious — how will Master Gable react to this latest disappointment?

CM Punk Continues His Mind Games with Drew

While Drew ran around backstage like a lunatic looking for him, CM Punk simply walked out on the ramp, entered the ring, and watched calmly from a safe distance. The mind games just never stop with this guy. 😈

Then came the verbal destruction. Punk mocked Drew, saying, I’ll finish this promo faster than your title reign at WrestleMania XL!

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 15Raw 29.04.2024 - Feels like we just traveled back to the Pipe Bomb era—classic CM Punk energy.

The crowd loved it. Punk reminded everyone that he's still the best in the world — whether it’s wrestling, commentary, or microphone work. The biggest message, though? "When I’m medically cleared, I will make Drew’s life a living hell."

Honestly? He already is. Drew's mentally wrecked — and I can't even imagine what’s going to happen when these two finally clash face-to-face.

WWE Draft – Round Four

Next up to announce picks were Teddy Long and Alundra Blayze, both WWE Hall of Famers!

  • Raw selects: The Judgment Day and Ilja Dragunov from NXT

  • SmackDown selects: Naomi, Piper Niven, and Chelsea Green

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 16Raw 29.04.2024 - For the second week straight, the legendary Teddy Long—SmackDown’s finest and tag team match maestro—has graced our screens.

YES! Ilja Dragunov is officially on the main roster — I’ve been waiting for this moment! Expect pure chaos and stiff bangers from him soon enough. These are decent picks, but Raw definitely looks stronger this round.

Liv Morgan vs Nia Jax – Huge Win in Nia’s Raw Farewell

This was Nia Jax’s final match on Raw before moving to SmackDown. Liv Morgan, wild and fearless, decided to throw everything she had at the powerhouse. To be honest, I didn’t see many ways for Liv to win here — Nia is just too massive, powerful, and intimidating. But Liv had other plans.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 17Raw 29.04.2024 - Nia may be huge and monstrous, yet numerous superstars have found ways to defeat her.

She used her speed and agility to land sharp combos, but one brutal clothesline from Jax nearly ended the match. Nia even tried the Annihilator — and almost connected — but Liv just wouldn’t stay down. Then came the chaos.

Nia tossed Liv near the commentary table and shared a tense stare-down with Tiffany Stratton, who was watching from ringside. Just as things got wild, Naomi attacked Tiffany outside the ring, and Nia got involved, slamming Naomi to the floor.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 18Raw 29.04.2024 - Regardless of everything, Liv’s passion and motivation shine as she sends Nia off SmackDown in style tonight.

This distraction gave Liv the perfect window: Codebreaker! Oblivion! 1–2–3! Huge upset win for Liv Morgan, while Nia’s Raw run ends in defeat. But honestly? She’s got no one to blame but herself.

WWE Draft – Round Five

And now, it’s The Dudley Boyz back to announce Round Five of the Draft!

  • Raw selects: The New Day and Lyra Valkyria from NXT

  • SmackDown selects: Pretty Deadly, Indi Hartwell, and Candice LeRae

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 19Raw 29.04.2024 - The legendary Dudley Boyz made sure to show up on the second day of the Draft.

Wow! Another NXT call-up for Raw — Lyra Valkyria is coming!  Meanwhile, SmackDown went with the more “common” names — nothing bad, just not as exciting.

To me, Raw came out stronger in this round. SmackDown's picks feel a bit... safer.

Awesome Truth vs Alpha Academy – Another Loss for Gable's Camp

Backstage, Chad Gable, right before catching a brutal Helluva Kick from Sami Zayn, managed to set up a tag title match for his boys against Awesome Truth. R-Truth gladly accepted, giving Alpha Academy a golden opportunity to finally impress their master.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 20Raw 29.04.2024 - Is there any chance Otis will ever be in a strong spot?

But let’s be real — this wasn’t going to end well for them

To their credit, the Alpha Academy actually had some decent moments, showing flashes of teamwork and energy. But it all crumbled when Truth Crushing Finale, smashing Akira Tozawa’s head into the mat for the pinfall.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 21Raw 29.04.2024 - Let me introduce you to what the Truth Crushing Finale looks like.

That makes three straight losses tonight for Alpha Academy.  At this point, Gable’s “Master Plan” is crashing fast, and I wouldn't be shocked if we see some major changes next week.

WWE Draft – Round Six

For the final round of the night, we got the big bosses themselves — Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce — to announce the last picks of the 2024 WWE Draft.

  • Raw selects: The Final Testament and Bronson Reed

  • SmackDown selects: DIY and Blair Davenport from NXT

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 22Raw 29.04.2024 - It’s down to the wire as both general managers make their last picks for WWE Draft 2024!

Finally, SmackDown grabs someone from NXT! Blair Davenport could be a huge addition to the women’s division over there.

And with DIY reunited on the blue brand, the tag scene’s about to get a whole lot more intense. Solid final round all around.

Jey Uso, Andrade & Ricochet vs The Judgment Day – YEET Momentum

Last week, Jey Uso found himself some backup in Andrade and Ricochet, setting up tonight’s 6-man tag main event. The Judgment Day were rolling in deep, but their weak link tonight? JD McDonagh, who got KO’d by Logan Paul earlier in the show

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 23Raw 29.04.2024 - When it came to making an impact, Priest was the lone warrior for his team.

Early in the match, Jey and his crew took control with quick tags and flashy offense. But once Damian Priest tagged in, everything shifted. The World Heavyweight Champion came in like a storm and turned the tide with brute force

Honestly, Priest looked incredible — Ricochet couldn’t lay a finger on him. Damian shined bright, proving exactly why he’s champ.Still, the final spotlight belonged to Jey UsoSpear! Uso Splash! YEET!

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 24Raw 29.04.2024 - Just before Backlash, Jey delivered the decisive blow to close the match.

Jey pinned JD to secure a huge win, building massive momentum before Backlash. The question now is… can YEET Energy dethrone the Judgment Day’s top dog?

Final Thoughts

This was a strong episode of Raw with some exciting WWE Draft picks and a lot of important moments leading us right into Backlash. Oh, and by the way — no Cody Rhodes tonight. Did you catch that? 👀 That’s suspicious...

🔥 The Man is Looking for a New Opponent

As always, Becky Lynch doesn’t waste time after becoming champion — she’s already stirring things up. Her most likely challenger? Liv Morgan, fresh off winning the Battle Royal. But tonight, Liv had to survive a serious test: Nia Jax.

The match wasn’t clean by any means, but Liv scored the win, and that absolutely boosted her stock heading into a future clash with The Man. As for Nia? That loss definitely knocked her down a few pegs — but she’s got time to bounce back after Backlash.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 22Raw 29.04.2024 - The Man is tough as ever, but something tells me her time with the title might be ticking away.

👑 Dethroning the King

Like I said last week: Xavier Woods has no chance against Gunther. None. Even if both end up in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament, The Ring General would wipe the floor with him every time.

And guess what? He didn’t just beat Xavier — he made him tap out. That’s way more humiliating than a simple pin. Maybe Woods can’t even continue now, and if that’s the case, Kofi Kingston might step in his place? Either way, the King has been humbled.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 23Raw 29.04.2024 - As promised, The Ring General dismantled Woods and made sure he didn’t walk out—he was stretchered to the hospital.

🤕 Logan Paul Got a Little Embarrassed

So… Logan Paul knocks out JD McDonagh earlier tonight, and guess what? That might’ve cost Judgment Day the main event. Talk about friendly fire! 🧨

Now his "relationship" with Judgment Day might be a little strained. But more importantly, Braun Strowman is back — and he’s coming straight for that U.S. Title. This could be the biggest threat Logan’s faced in WWE.

Let’s be honest: The Maverick has never dealt with a monster like Braun. We might be looking at a future new U.S. Champion soon. 👀

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 24Raw 29.04.2024 - It’s just a matter of time until Braun Strowman sets his sights on the U.S. Title.

😰 Sami Zayn's Problems Just Doubled

Before tonight, Sami Zayn only had to worry about Chad Gable. Now? Add Bronson Reed to the list. With Reed staying on Raw, Sami is looking at a war with both the Alpha Academy and The Colossal One.

If this was Gunther, I’d believe he could survive both in one night. But Sami? I’m not so sure. Can the Ultimate Underdog find a way to escape this one? This challenge looks way too big — literally and figuratively.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 25Raw 29.04.2024 - Could this be the future Intercontinental Champion in the making?

🎯 CM Punk Is Living Rent-Free in Drew's Head

Once upon a time, Drew McIntyre was a noble warrior and nearly unbeatable. Now? He’s completely obsessed with CM Punk, and I finally get why.

After WrestleMania XL, Punk cost him the championship and then the chance to challenge Damian Priest. Now, Punk is toying with him mentally, and it's working. Physically, Drew is stronger, but mentally? Punk’s got him broken. This feud is quickly becoming one of the most personal and compelling stories in WWE right now.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 29Raw 29.04.2024 - Watching Drew at this moment, he seems like a shattered soul spiraling into madness.

🌱 Maxxine Dupri is Growing Fast

Despite her loss tonight, Maxxine Dupri is showing real progress in the ring. She nearly made Candice LeRae tap out, but Indi Hartwell’s interference ruined that.

Still, she’s improving quickly. With more experience, I think she’ll start picking up wins very soon. Keep grinding, Dupri!

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 30Raw 29.04.2024 -One day, I hope the referee will finally lift Dupri’s hand in triumph.

🖤 Liv Morgan Is Now First in Line

After beating Nia Jax, Liv Morgan is the clear #1 contender for Becky’s title. She’s fired up, she’s on her Revenge Tour, and honestly? She might actually beat The Man. But let’s be real — none of this will matter once Mami returns. Rhea Ripley will destroy whoever holds that title and take back what's hers. Just a matter of time. 🥶

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 31Raw 29.04.2024 - At this moment, Morgan is steadily rising, gathering hype and fan love.

🤷 Alpha Academy Still Can’t Catch a Break

Chad Gable made a smart move tonight, getting his boys a shot at the tag titles. But let’s be honest — did anyone believe they could win? I haven’t seen Alpha Academy win anything meaningful in months. You?

It was a dark, dark night for them, and they walked out with three losses. Time for a serious reset.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 32Raw 29.04.2024 - Honestly, this is a pleasant view—I’ve always had a soft spot for these tag team champions.

⚔️ YEET Jey Uso Has the Upper Hand Before Backlash

Jey Uso and his crew pulled off a big win tonight — but that doesn’t guarantee a one-on-one win against Damian Priest at Backlash. Because let’s not forget: Priest looked amazing tonight.

He dominated Ricochet and turned the match around for Judgment Day. He has the power to win on his own… but I still wouldn’t put it past Judgment Day to interfere. We’ll find out very soon.

Raw 29.04.2024 post image 33Raw 29.04.2024 - I’m sure Uso understands that going up against the champion at Backlash won’t be a simple task.

One more thing before we go — this year’s Draft was all about full group moves. WWE made sure not to split teams, which is great for long-term storytelling. 👏

We also got some solid NXT call-ups:Ilja Dragunov is heading to Raw Carmelo Hayes to SmackDown. Both are phenomenal athletes who will absolutely shake things up. Can’t wait to see them in action. That’s it from me! Catch you all this Friday for SmackDown, and then we head straight into Backlash. Thanks for reading — YEET! 🙌🔥
