Raw 15.04.2024
Whoo-hoo! The RadiantGame Team has arrived in Montreal, Quebec, Canada!
Tonight, we’re in the hometown of our Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn, and I have no doubt the Bell Centre will be on fire when he defends his title against Chad Gable. Even better, we’ll witness the long-awaited return of the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus! I'm also expecting appearances from Judgment Day, maybe even Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes. Either way, tonight’s show should be awesome—so let’s dive right in!
Rhea Ripley Brings the Sad News…
Raw kicks off with our Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, who steps out with her arm in a sling. The second I saw it, I had a bad feeling about what was coming. Last week, Liv Morgan blindsided her backstage, and clearly, the attack did some serious damage.
Rhea confirmed our fears: she's injured and will be out for several months. Worse, Adam Pearce is making her vacate the title. The usually fearless champion could barely hold back tears—it was hard to watch. You could feel her pain and frustration, and I can only imagine the absolute destruction Liv Morgan is in for when Rhea returns.
Liv, of course, couldn’t help herself. She appeared just to taunt the injured champion, and it nearly broke into chaos. Security jumped in before fists could fly, but make no mistake—this is war. And I am all in for it.
Backstage, Rhea received full love and support from the Judgment Day crew. Damian Priest even promised to keep the faction on top until she comes back. Loyalty like that hits deep.
The Celtic Warrior Returns!
SHEAMUS IS BACK! And that, my friends, is great news. In recent years, I've grown to really respect him—and tonight he’s going toe-to-toe with another powerhouse, Ivar of the Viking Raiders.
From the opening bell, it was brutal. Sheamus wasted no time, blasting Ivar with a massive shoulder block and showing off that crazy strength by delivering White Noise from the second rope! That could've ended the match right there, but Ivar somehow kicked out.
Sheamus then gave the crowd exactly what they came for—the 10 Beats of the Bodhrán, a crushing spinebuster, and a whole lot of fight. Ivar fired back with a spinning heel kick and a splash from the top rope, nearly stealing the win. But the Celtic Warrior wasn’t going down tonight.
Fueled by emotion, Sheamus demanded more punishment, then dropped Ivar with two brutal knees to the jaw, followed by the Brogue Kick for the win. What a return. Montreal loved it, I loved it—welcome back, Fella! Something tells me this is just the start of a big run.
Triple H Presents New Tag Titles (and Truth Loses His Mind)
Triple H and Adam Pearce hit the ring for a special presentation—because if we’re entering a new era, we need fresh titles to go with it. They called out the newly crowned tag champs, Awesome Truth (R-Truth and The Miz), who walked into the spotlight ready to celebrate.
And guess what? In the center of the ring was a table holding the brand-new Raw Tag Team Titles, now officially called the World Tag Team Championships. The titles looked sharp—fresh design, better branding, and a name that screams top-tier.
Paul Levesque congratulated the champs, saying they’d made history and deserved proper recognition. I totally agree—R-Truth is still rocking and making everyone smile, and Miz, well, he’s Miz. But R-Truth totally stole the show again.
He was convinced Triple H and Pearce were magicians pulling tricks out of their hats and even accused "Triple H" of being Tommaso Ciampa in disguise. Classic Truth—never change, man. Eventually, Triple H handed over the new belts, took the old ones, and left the champs soaking in their moment.
But now that we’ve got new titles, it’s time to find new challengers. And that starts with… a triple threat match coming up next!
No. 1 Contender Triple Threat Match: DIY vs. New Day vs. The Creed Brothers
It’s a clash of the babyfaces as three beloved teams square off for a shot at the brand-new World Tag Team Championships. We’ve got the legendary New Day, the hungry underdog story of DIY, and the physically dominant and ever-evolving Creed Brothers. My personal pick? The Creeds—they’ve beaten the other teams before and have the size and strength advantage. But anything can happen.
Johnny Gargano, Brutus Creed, and Xavier Woods start things off, and it's younger Creed who makes the early impact, bulldozing through the competition with brute power. The match is full of momentum swings, each team showing why they belong on the big stage. As expected, everyone brought something special to the table.
At one point, DIY managed to clear the ring, and it looked like Tommaso Ciampa had it won with a Project Ciampa, but Kofi Kingston kicked out! Huge moment. Xavier jumped in to fight for his brother and took control for New Day, even hitting a tag-team Famouser with Kofi—until Julius Creed interrupted the pin, then manhandled both New Day and DIY.
The Creeds went full destruction mode, hitting German Suplexes on everyone in sight, and it felt like the match was theirs. But then, in a truly wild final sequence:
-
Brutus was thrown to the outside,
-
Julius suplexed Kofi,
-
Woods crashed down with a Diving Elbow,
-
But before Woods could pin, he got hit with a Meeting in the Middle by DIY!
-
Ciampa pinned Woods, and just like that, DIY are the new No. 1 contenders!
Congrats to Johnny and Tommaso—could this be a real comeback for the legendary team? I really hope so.
Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell vs. Ivy Nile & Maxxine Dupri
Before the bell even rang, it was clear there’s trouble in paradise between Candice and Indi. One's trying to play it straight, and the other is fully embracing the dark side. Meanwhile, they’re up against Ivy Nile and Maxxine Dupri—a team that’s still growing, with Ivy often carrying the workload.
Ivy nearly won the match right away with a quick roll-up on Indi, but Hartwell kicked out. Surprisingly, Maxxine actually impressed tonight, hitting a nice Splash and a Fisherman Suplex. Sadly, she wasted too much time arguing with Candice and got blindsided by Indi.
After some punishment, Maxxine hit a DDT and tagged in Ivy, but Candice distracted the referee, who didn’t see the tag and refused to let Ivy in! Dirty tactics, for sure. Indi capitalized, cheap-shotted Maxxine, then dragged LeRae’s lifeless body over her for the pin.
Raw 15.04.2024 - Indi’s figured it out—she’s playing dirty now, just like her partner.
So yeah—Indi’s fully stepping onto the dark path now, and honestly? It might finally help them win more often.
Andrade vs. Dominik Mysterio
Once upon a time, El Ídolo Andrade tried to show some respect to Dominik Mysterio, even suggesting they team up. But at WrestleMania, it was made crystal clear—Andrade sides with respect, not bratty children. And tonight, it’s Andrade vs. Dirty Dom, with JD McDonagh lurking nearby, as usual.
I expected an easy win for Andrade, and he started strong—hitting the Three Amigos as a tribute to Eddie Guerrero. But JD started causing trouble early on, distracting Andrade and giving Dom plenty of cheap openings.
This string of distractions built up to a scary moment—Dominik hit a Canadian Destroyer on the apron that made me think Andrade’s neck was done for. But the man’s tough. He shook it off, caught Dom mid-619, and finished things with a beautiful La Sombra.
Victory for Andrade—but Judgment Day doesn’t take losses lightly. JD and Dom launched a two-on-one beatdown, with JD clearly acting on Damian Priest’s orders to take Andrade out. Just when it looked hopeless… RICHOCHET appeared!
No one expected him to be the one to make the save, and I have no clue what his business is with Andrade, but one thing’s for sure—he just put himself in Judgment Day’s crosshairs.
Chelsea Green & Piper Niven vs. Kayden Carter & Katana Chance
Busy month for Chelsea Green—this is her third match in the new era, and finally, she and Piper have opponents that feel more manageable in Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. Honestly, I felt pretty good about their chances tonight. I was really hoping this would be the start of something big for Green and Niven.
Piper Niven kicked things off strong, using her power to dominate early. But, as usual, things got messy the moment Chelsea tagged in. It felt like the momentum was about to slip away—again. Thankfully, Piper saved the day, flattening Kayden with a huge crossbody, which opened the door for Chelsea to roll her up and steal the win.
Raw 15.04.2024 - It’s so heartwarming to see the joy on the faces of these two young ladies.
And finally—they win! I’m honestly satisfied. I can’t even explain why I like this duo so much, but I just do. Congratulations, ladies. Keep this going!
Cody Rhodes… Saying the Same Stuff (Again)
The American Nightmare… again… on Raw. Why is he still showing up here? He’s a SmackDown guy now—go stay over there like Roman Reigns used to. When the Tribal Chief came to Raw, it was an event. But Cody? He’s just bouncing between brands with no clear direction.
Sure, fans treat him like a hero who beat the unbeatable Head of the Table, but how long is that going to carry him? A month? Two? What then? The worst part is—he says he’s not going anywhere. And that’s what scares me the most, because you know exactly how I feel about Cody Rhodes…
In his speech, Cody name-dropped all the usual suspects—LA Knight, AJ Styles, and the man who truly made Cody’s win possible: Seth Freakin’ Rollins. He gave Seth credit for shielding him from The Bloodline and sacrificing everything for that WrestleMania victory.
Raw 15.04.2024 - Jey Uso’s contribution was massive in Cody’s win at WrestleMania XL.
Cody also mentioned The Rock and the Bloodline drama, saying that if the “Final Boss” makes him bleed, he’ll “bleed with him.” Not the most comforting words, honestly. He seems confused about Tama Tonga’s introduction, but ended his speech by telling us to cheer for Jey Uso, the man who helped him “finish the story.”
Tonight, Cody offered to back up Jey in his match against Finn Bálor—but Jey said no thanks. Bad move, in my opinion. You know Finn won’t be coming alone.
Finn Bálor vs. Jey Uso – A Lesson for the YEET Boy?
Like I said—Finn wasn’t here to play fair, and he jumped Jey Uso before the bell even rang. That gave Bálor the early edge, and he delivered some nasty chops while keeping the match completely under his control.
Jey fought back with some counters, but Bálor was dialed in tonight. This was one of Finn’s best performances in a long time—maybe not quite his prime, but close. Still, as always, it didn’t last. Jey turned the tide with a huge Spear and Samoan Slash, ending the fairy tale with another Bálor loss.
Raw 15.04.2024 - A heartbreaking end for Finn tonight, but what a huge victory for YEET Boy!
After the match, Damian Priest came down, locking eyes with his upcoming opponent. But, of course, he wasn’t alone—JD McDonagh and Dominik ambushed Jey from behind, and it looked like all hope was lost. Four-on-one.
But Jey played it smart. He escaped through the crowd—and there’s no shame in that when you're outnumbered. Honestly? That’s just good strategy from the No. 1 contender.
Backstage, Jey ran into Sami Zayn, who reminded him that this very stadium was where he had his first match. A meaningful place for our Intercontinental Champion—and a moment that got the crowd fired up.
Sami Zayn (C) vs. Chad Gable: The end of friendship
Of course, Sami walked through his people, thanking them and honoring them as always. Tonight, he faced his friend and mentor—the very man who helped him defeat the most dangerous Intercontinental Champion of all time.
Chad Gable still has ZERO championships in WWE or NXT. That’s heartbreaking when you consider how talented and hardworking this guy is. So tonight was huge. The whole arena backed Sami, which only added pressure to Gable. Honestly, I thought Gable might pull it off. Sami had his biggest motivation at WrestleMania—tonight, it's harder to hold on to that fire.
Gable knew all of Sami’s weaknesses—especially his bad knee. Great strategy. He worked the leg hard, locking in the ankle lock and countering Zayn's offense effectively. Gable even blocked an Exploder Suplex and had Sami stuck in his hold.
At one point, I seriously questioned whether Zayn could even hit the Helluva Kick anymore. Gable delivered a devastating Olympic Slam from the top rope and a series of German Suplexes that looked brutal. It was like a chess match of punishment and resilience.
Despite it all, Zayn somehow landed a slow but powerful Helluva Kick and got the win. A deserved victory—but he was so close to tapping out. Gable’s tears said it all. Sami helped him up, trying to show respect… but Gable snapped.
Raw 15.04.2024 - A true champion can be flexible, fast, and at times, even a powerhouse in the ring
He attacked Zayn from behind, locked in a vicious Ankle Lock through the ropes, and left the crowd stunned. Gable broke. This is a new chapter for him—and it’s not going to be pretty.
Final Thoughts
💔 Mami is going on vacation
That was a heartbreaking moment when an athlete has to leave due to trauma. But it’s even worse when a wrestler has to vacate a title for the greater good. Now we’re likely getting some kind of tournament to crown a new Women’s Champion. I’m sure there will be lots of interesting competitors. But if you ask me — Rhea will be back. One day, she absolutely will. And when that happens, she’ll rip apart the champion, and especially the one responsible for her injury — Liv Morgan. She’s smiling now, but in Liv’s place? I’d be seriously worried.
🍀 Massive Sheamus return
Finally, the Celtic Warrior is healed up and ready to fight. While he was away, the Brawling Brutes disappeared, and now he stands alone. I’m hoping he speaks about his goals for this year soon. I want to see him in some big fights and maybe chase gold again. Either way, I’m just really happy to see him back where he belongs.
🏆 Tag Team Division is great again
First of all, congrats to Awesome Truth on becoming the brand-new World Tag Team Champions. The titles look amazing, and the tag division finally feels alive again! It looks like we’re doing another Triple Threat contender match — one of those “new era” features — and this time DIY won. I think they’ll give Miz and R-Truth a fun match, but I doubt they’ll end their reign so soon. We’ll find out next week!
Raw 15.04.2024 - We’ve got new World Tag Team Champions, and it’s none other than Awesome Truth!
🌒 Indi finally drops to the dark side
It was only a matter of time before Indi Hartwell either walked away or embraced Candice’s new vision. Well, she’s chosen the dark path. I’m curious to see where this leads. They’re clearly willing to play dirty, and maybe they’ll even climb toward the titles. But looking at the big picture… I still don’t really see them as champions. Time will tell — we’ll be watching.
🤝 Andrade finds a new friend?
I don’t have much to say about the match. JD kept interfering, Dominik tried his best, but El Idolo was just better tonight. What surprised me was Ricochet showing up. This guy has been so dull lately that he probably got desperate for attention after losing his own title match opportunity. If Jey loses his shot, maybe Ricochet will try his luck next? Sounds dumb… but crazier things have happened in WWE.
🎀 New beginning for Piper and Chelsea?
After two weeks of being humiliated, Green and Niven finally got opponents they could handle. Confident win and finally some positive emotions for these girls. I don’t know why, but I really like them. Hopefully next week brings another win and a step toward the Tag Team Championships. Fingers crossed.
😴 Cody is still boring
We finished his story. Now we’re two weeks deep into Raw and Cody’s still here… just talking. Saying obvious things and doing basically nothing. Even tonight, he didn’t help Jey, despite clearly being nearby. I hope something interesting happens with Cody by Backlash, because honestly, the only good segment so far was his confrontation with The Rock, and that’s only because of the Final Boss.
🥀 Sad destiny of Finn Bálor
As expected, Jey Uso won, especially after hitting his most powerful combo. But what I want to talk about is Finn. He’s turning into another Shinsuke Nakamura or AJ Styles — a legend from the past who just doesn’t look dangerous anymore. Finn wrestled really well tonight, maybe close to his prime days… but he still lost. Quickly, and without any real twist. It hurts to see him like this. Maybe he needs to bring back The Demon or change things up. He deserves better.
🥶 Great betrayal of an ex-mentor
The match between Sami and Chad was extremely personal. Fights between friends often are, and sadly they often end badly. Tonight, I think Gable snapped. He’s never won a title in WWE, despite so many chances. And now, he lost to his student in Canada. That probably crushed him mentally. His post-match attack was cruel and emotional, and now it looks like we’re heading into a full-on war between former friends. And honestly? That’s gonna be hot.
Raw 15.04.2024 - This is how friendships end—betrayal, heartbreak, and no turning back.
Last week, Raw was much better than SmackDown, and I hope the blue brand gives us something special this time. This show was pretty solid with a strong emotional ending, and I enjoyed watching it. The only thing I didn’t like was Cody’s segment — but hey, if people need him, I’ll try to stay patient and calm. 😄
See you next time. Bye!
