Elimination Chamber 2024

Do you smell what the Radiant Team is cooking, Perth, Western Australia!? We've traveled across the globe to witness this unforgettable night. Two Chamber matches await us. The winners will face Seth Rollins and either Rhea Ripley or Nia Jax for the Women's World Title. What a show this is going to be! I can barely contain my excitement—let’s start it baby!

Kickoff Match: Kabuki Warriors vs. Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae

We start with a thrilling tag team contest featuring the Kabuki Warriors taking on Australia's own Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae, who are fighting for the Tag Team Championships. This is a special moment for the local audience, but let's be honest—Indi and Candice have little chance against the formidable Kabuki Warriors.

Elemination Chamber 2024 post image 1Elimination Chamber 2024 - I think this was greatest moment of the Indi's career.

Indi had a great moment when she took down both champions, but after some clever teamwork, Kairi Sane ended this fairy tale with a final blow. This match was more about giving the Australian crowd something to cheer for, and they were definitely left happy and ready for the main event! What more could we ask for to kick off the show?

Women's Elimination Chamber Match

The match began with four women locked in their pods—Liv Morgan, Tiffany Stratton, Raquel Rodriguez, and Bianca Belair—while Becky Lynch and Naomi kicked things off. Both superstars were warmly welcomed by the crowd as they started with some light exchanges and quick pin attempts, conserving their energy for the grueling battle ahead. But the peace didn’t last long—Naomi soon introduced Becky to the steel chains, setting the tone for the brutal match that followed.

Elimination Chamber 2024 post image 3Elimination Chamber 2024 - The Man and Naomi will start this epic match inside the chain structure.

Tiffany Stratton entered next, immediately showing off her incredible athleticism as she took control of the bout. She has personal stakes here, seeking revenge on Lynch for taking the NXT title from her last year. However, a minor slip allowed the others to get back into the action, and soon exhaustion started to show. I’m personally impressed by Tiffany—she's a powerful competitor.

Elimination Chamber 2024 post image 4Elimination Chamber 2024 - Time to shine for Tiffany Stratton.

Liv Morgan entered the fray, and things got heated between her and Stratton, rekindling their rivalry. Liv mercilessly tossed Tiffany into the bulletproof pods, giving the crowd an “ouch” moment. Meanwhile, Becky tried to interfere, adding more chaos to the mix. Tiffany endured more punishment as Becky slammed her into the steel floor and locked her in a submission through the chains. Naomi took a daring leap from the pod, but her high-flying attempt backfired, as she missed Liv Morgan. This allowed Tiffany to seize the moment, quickly rolling up Naomi for the first elimination.

Elimination Chamber 2024 post image 5Elimination Chamber 2024 - Very painful moment for young rising star.

Next up, Raquel Rodriguez stormed into the match, a powerhouse ready to crush the competition. She immediately targeted Tiffany, as everyone seemed to want a piece of her. Raquel then smashed Becky into the chains and delivered a Fallaway Slam, asserting her dominance. The other women tried to team up on Raquel, but even three bodies couldn’t keep her down.

Elimination Chamber 2024 post image 6Elimination Chamber 2024 - Liv executes Codebreaker better then any woman in modern roster.

Finally, the EST of WWE, Bianca Belair, entered last, and with her athleticism and power, she became an instant favorite to win. Bianca and Raquel faced off in a display of strength, but Bianca’s speed gave her the edge. A DDT on the steel floor from Bianca nearly cracked Raquel’s skull! The high point of the match came when all the women climbed the pods, with Tiffany hitting a breathtaking Swanton onto everyone below.

Elimination Chamber 2024 post image 7Elimination Chamber 2024 - Taste of revenge for Liv after past SmackDown.

As the chaos ensued, Liv took her revenge on Tiffany, hitting her with an Oblivion from the top rope for a definitive elimination. Raquel regained control briefly, but Becky’s Dis-Arm-Her nearly made her submit. Belair seized the opportunity and hit a KOD on Raquel, leaving us with three: Becky, Bianca, and Liv, all fighting for their WrestleMania spot.

Elimination Chamber 2024 post image 8Elimination Chamber 2024 - Bianca rampages inside the cage.

Bianca dominated for a stretch, punishing Liv and Becky with brutal chain and steel floor interactions. This match felt particularly violent for a women's contest. Becky’s near elimination came after Liv delivered a superplex to The Man, setting her up for Bianca’s 450 Splash. However, Lynch countered just in time, raising her knees to block Bianca's landing and managed to survive the moment.

Elimination Chamber 2024 post image 9Elimination Chamber 2024 - Liv caught Bianca off guard.

In the final moments, Bianca attempted another KOD, but Becky landed on her feet, giving Liv the opening for a quick roll-up on EST. Becky capitalized with a Manhandle Slam on Morgan, securing her victory and a ticket to WrestleMania! Huge congratulations to Becky Lynch for enduring from start to finish!

New Catch Republic vs. The Judgment Day

Next up, the British tag team, New Catch Republic, faced off against Judgment Day in a bid to capture their first tag team titles. With Dominic Mysterio lurking at ringside, I had a feeling there would be some dirty play from the champs.

Elemination Chamber 2024 post image 3Elimination Chamber 2024 - Pete Dunne dislocates Finn's fingers.

As the match started, the Republic came out aggressively, targeting Finn Bálor and Damian Priest, with Finn taking the early hits. Priest got involved quickly, stopping Tyler Bate in his tracks to give Bálor the opening to wear down the challengers. Bate took a long beating, even suffering cheap shots from Dom outside the ring, before finally landing a dropkick on Priest and tagging in Pete Dunne.

Elemination Chamber 2024 post image 4Elimination Chamber 2024 - Big Strong Boy knows how to perform Flying Uppercut.

Dunne came in like a house on fire, almost putting Judgment Day away. I love the Republic’s innovative tag team maneuvers and how well they communicate, in contrast to the less cohesive Judgment Day. Priest showcased his brutal strength, but Bate managed to take him out of the ring, leaving Dunne to hit the Bitter End on Bálor. It looked like we had new champions, but Dom sneakily placed Finn’s leg on the ropes.

Elemination Chamber 2024 post image 5Elimination Chamber 2024 - Double Chokeslam and hidden tag from Finn changes the picture of the match.

Dom was ejected, but the damage was done. Priest pulled Bate out of the ring and Dunne was left vulnerable for Judgment Day’s tag finisher. However, Tyler managed to spoil their attempt, and together with Dunne, they hit Priest with a Burning Hammer. But Priest kicked out! As they set up for a high-risk move, Priest miraculously hit a double chokeslam from the top rope, allowing Finn to tag in and deliver a Coup De Grace to retain the titles. Despite the loss, New Catch Republic impressed, and I’m confident they’ll capture gold soon.

Grayson Waller Effect with Seth Rollins & Cody Rhodes

We then moved to the Greatest Grayson Waller Effect, featuring Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. Waller started the show with his buddy Austin Theory, who, of course, took some shots at the locals before Waller made his grand entrance to a hero’s welcome.

Elemination Chamber 2024 post image 6Elimination Chamber 2024 - The hosts of the Grayson Waller Effect - Austin Theory and Grayson Waller.

First up was Seth Rollins, who got a massive ovation. Next was Cody Rhodes, introduced as the “Ultimate Story Finisher.” Grayson wasted no time stirring the pot, asking both men to acknowledge Roman Reigns. Rollins quickly announced that he would be medically cleared in a few days and didn’t care who won the Chamber tonight—he's ready for anyone.

Elemination Chamber 2024 post image 7Elimination Chamber 2024 - "If you smeeeeeeeeel...." - sad that Austin never finish catchphrase of his idol.

Waller then accused Cody of robbing the fans of the century’s biggest match, Roman Reigns vs. The Rock. Cody countered by saying he’s open to facing The Rock anytime, anywhere, though Roman will never let it be a fair fight. Seth promised Cody would have his back if it came down to it, solidifying their strong union.

Elemination Chamber 2024 post image 8Elimination Chamber 2024 - But he definitely knows how Cody Cutter is tastes.

Austin tried to mimic The Rock, but Cody quickly cut him off with a Cross Rhodes, and Rollins finished him off with a Stomp. Waller wisely stayed put, and the show ended with the undeniable bond between Seth and Cody. But will they be enough to take on the Bloodline? Time will tell

Men’s Elimination Chamber Match

This was the most important match for me on the show. Several participants are among my favorites, but I won't make any predictions. The lineup featured Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley (wearing protection on his right elbow after a vicious assault from Karrion Kross on SmackDown), Logan Paul, who dreams of becoming a double champion like Seth Rollins did years ago, Randy Orton (the most experienced in this type of match), Drew McIntyre (the most hated but also the most motivated), and finally, LA Knight, the megastar of the modern era.

Elimination Chamber 2024 post image 17Elimination Chamber 2024 - Just look at size of this construction.

The tension was high right from the start, as the bad blood between Drew and LA Knight, from their clash on SmackDown, carried over into this match. There was no love lost between them, and it felt like this match wouldn't really kick off until everyone was out of their pods. However, Drew’s biggest threat seemed to be CM Punk, who, despite nursing an injury, had serious issues with the Scottish Warrior. McIntyre even attempted to use the GTS, but LA Knight quickly countered and punished him immediately. It’s a testament to Drew’s toughness that, even after being slammed into a pod 20 times, he was still able to stand. The early stages of the match were rough for McIntyre.

Elimination Chamber 2024 post image 18Elimination Chamber 2024 - LA Knight shows us that he is here not accidental but due to his skills.

The next participant to enter was Kevin Owens, who immediately made a mess of the ring with his fast and vicious offense. Kevin lit up the ring with a devastating Codebreaker to Drew McIntyre while simultaneously hitting LA Knight with a Senton and then marking the Apex Predator, Randy Orton. Owens and Knight worked together briefly against Drew, but no eliminations happened during this period.

Elimination Chamber 2024 post image 19Elimination Chamber 2024 - Kevin immediately starts working on Drew Mcintyre.

Bobby Lashley was unleashed next, bringing his raw power and brutality to the match. The crowd was behind Bobby, chanting his name. Drew somehow managed to slow Lashley down for a bit, but the Chamber’s structure wasn’t being used much, aside from Drew taking a lot of punishment. While Bobby and Drew were mostly engaged in their own battle, Knight and Owens took the opportunity to recover.

Elimination Chamber 2024 post image 20Elimination Chamber 2024 - Logan has a good time while his opponents tear each other apart.

Then came the most dangerous man in this type of match, Randy Orton, the Legend Killer. Statistically, Randy was the most likely to win this match, but like we saw with Bianca earlier, being the strongest or freshest doesn’t always guarantee victory. Surprisingly, Randy didn’t dominate immediately, as Drew and Bobby teamed up to slow him down. Lashley came close to eliminating LA Knight after a perfect spear, but the Megastar wisely rolled out of the ring. I had a feeling Randy was nursing a lower back injury, raising serious questions about whether he could win.

Elimination Chamber 2024 post image 21Elimination Chamber 2024 - Bobby snipes Knight with devastating spear.

Finally, Logan Paul, the US Champion, entered the fray, but was instantly and viciously beaten down by Kevin Owens. There’s some wild hatred between these two. After the assault, I thought Logan wouldn’t be able to continue, but he somehow managed to use the Chamber to his advantage. This led to the first OMG moment of the match: a massive spear from Lashley that sent Logan crashing through a pod. The crowd erupted, chanting, “Thank you, Bobby!” However, before Bobby could celebrate, Drew nailed him with a Claymore, and minutes later, another Claymore sent Lashley packing as the first elimination.

Elimination Chamber 2024 post image 22Elimination Chamber 2024 - Good start for USA champion in this match.

Randy was still struggling, barely finding his footing, while LA Knight used his favorite Superplex on Drew, followed by BFT on both Drew and Randy. I thought it would be an instant double elimination, but AJ Styles stormed into the Chamber with a steel chair and brutally attacked LA Knight. AJ hadn’t forgotten or forgiven, and he picked the perfect moment to strike. After a Styles Clash on the chair, Drew capitalized and eliminated Knight. That was an impressive turn of events.

Elimination Chamber 2024 post image 23Elimination Chamber 2024 - AJ Styles sending message to LA Knight for every humiliate word he said in the past.

Logan Paul tried to build some momentum, but Kevin Owens, finding a second wind, went on a rampage, destroying everyone. Drew, though seriously beaten down, managed to stay on his feet and even attempted another Claymore on Owens. However, Owens, thinking he was Superman, hit a Popup Powerbomb on Drew, followed by a Stunner to Logan, and a Superkick to Orton. But just when Owens thought he had it in the bag, Randy struck with a deadly RKO, eliminating Owens.

But in a shocking twist, just when it seemed like Randy had no fight left, he delivered another RKO. It looked like he would head to WrestleMania, but Logan Paul, furious over his elimination, returned and KO'd Randy with a brass-knuckle-laced One Lucky Punch. Drew took advantage and pinned the Apex Predator, fulfilling his dream and securing his spot at WrestleMania.

Elimination Chamber 2024 post image 26Elimination Chamber 2024 - Drew overcomes everyone and punch his ticket to Wrestlemania.

It was an epic match, but I can't shake the feeling of disappointment, as Drew took advantage of so many situations but didn't create any eliminations on his own. Nevertheless, the Dark Knight of WWE is headed to WrestleMania, and we’ll soon see if he can become Heavyweight Champion. Congratulations to the Scottish Warrior, the savior of WrestleMania.

Thank you, Perth, Australia!

Triple H took a moment to thank everyone for inviting WWE to Australia and for their overwhelming support. Tonight, Optus Stadium hosted 52,590 WWE fans—an impressive number!

Clash for the Women’s World Championship: Nia Jax vs. Rhea Ripley

The main event of the evening saw the Irresistible Force, Nia Jax, try to ruin Rhea Ripley’s greatest moment in her homeland and strip her of the Women’s World Championship. Over the past month, Jax had annihilated the champion multiple times without any real response from Ripley. Would tonight be the last night that Mami stood tall as champion?

Elemination Chamber 2024 post image 10Elimination Chamber 2024 - Rhea looks awesome just as usual on every PLE.

Rhea, as always, made her entrance with style, looking every bit the champion she is. Personally, I believed Mami would win, given all the support from the Australian crowd. However, it wouldn’t be easy—she needed to exhaust Nia and avoid the Annihilator. The big question: is Ripley strong enough to lift Nia for the Riptide?

Elemination Chamber 2024 post image 11Elimination Chamber 2024 - Nia doesn't need wrestling skills she has her body weapon.

The match started with Rhea stunning Jax with a series of attacks, but everything changed when Rhea failed to execute the Riptide. Nia immediately took control, humiliating the champion with a massive stinkface. Rhea, though not small, looked like a Barbie doll compared to Jax, and I was genuinely worried that Jax would tear her apart.

Elemination Chamber 2024 post image 12Elimination Chamber 2024 - Massive Drop Kick from third rope by Mami.

Jax completely dominated the match, using submission holds and her overwhelming power to crush Rhea. No one expected such brutal control. Rhea's only hope was to wait for Nia to make a mistake, and that opportunity came when Jax missed a corner slam. This allowed Rhea to launch a brief counterattack, but she was quickly crushed by a Samoan Drop from the second rope. It looked like Ripley was done for, but she somehow found the strength to lift Jax onto her shoulders, nearly smashing through the ring. However, Jax was simply too heavy, and the champion’s back was already injured, making her efforts even more challenging.

Elemination Chamber 2024 post image 13Elimination Chamber 2024 - Nia executs Samoan drop throw the commentary table.

Outside the ring, we had an OMG moment when Rhea attempted to crash Jax through the commentary table, but Jax countered with another Samoan Drop, followed by a diving elbow and the Annihilator. That had to be it, right? But no—somehow, Ripley kicked out. At that point, I knew nothing could stop her. In a shocking turn, Rhea lifted Jax again, smashing her with a superplex from the second rope before finally hitting the Riptide for the pinfall victory.

Elemination Chamber 2024 post image 14Elimination Chamber 2024 - After that Superplex I am wondering how ring didn't collapse?

Nia Jax dominated 90% of the match, but Rhea’s endurance and the strength of her Riptide, combined with the crowd’s support, led Mami to an improbable victory. I genuinely thought Nia would kick out of the first Riptide, but surprisingly, she couldn’t. Regardless, this match was solid and showcased the resilience of Rhea Ripley.

Elemination Chamber 2024 post image 15Elimination Chamber 2024 - Mami is always on top!

Final Thoughts and Ranking

Another PLE is in the books, and it was fantastic. We have two winners: Becky Lynch, who will face Rhea Ripley, and Drew McIntyre, who will challenge Seth Rollins. Both were predictable winners, but they needed these victories. We also have two new storylines brewing: AJ Styles vs. LA Knight, and Randy Orton vs. Logan Paul, with Randy likely gunning for the U.S. Championship. The Judgment Day rules in Australia, and maybe this will make them even more confident as they pursue solo championships in the near future.

All matches today were active, full of events, and I watched them with concern and a full range of emotions—just the great criteria for a good PLE.

Overall, I’d rank this event a solid 7/10. Tomorrow’s Raw should be great, as post-PLE shows usually are. Stay safe, and I’ll see you all soon!
