S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is set to be released on September 5, 2024

GSC Game World has announced that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released on September 5, 2024. It appears that the game has been delayed again, as the developers initially aimed for an early 2024 release.

According to the developers, they had been working diligently to ensure a release in the first quarter of the year but eventually realized they couldn't address all the "technical imperfections." These imperfections were causing the game to fall "below expected standards for the final version."

More details about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 are promised to be revealed throughout 2024. The release will be available on PC (Steam, EGS, GOG) and Xbox Series, including Game Pass.
