The creators of RoboCop: Rogue City are interested in working on multiple franchises
The game director of RoboCop: Rogue City from the Teyon studio recently gave an interview discussing the warmly received shooter and the developers' future plans.
One of the most significant challenges in the three-year development process was bringing the main character to life. Players should experience being RoboCop with slow and heavy movements, all while maintaining the dynamic nature of shootouts.
Despite their successes, the developers don't have a content roadmap for RoboCop: Rogue City, plans for DLC, or ideas for a sequel. The game director is also unsure if the publisher, Nacon, aims to have the game added to Game Pass. However, the shooter's success has opened up more opportunities for Teyon, which is interested in working on several external franchises.
Overall, the developers are thrilled with how players have received RoboCop: Rogue City. The shooter has garnered highly positive user reviews on Steam, and an update introducing a "New Game+" mode is set to be released soon.
