Bloober Team: Updates on the Silent Hill 2 remake are coming soon

Growing impatient for fresh details about the Silent Hill 2 remake? It seems Bloober Team developers share your sentiment. Once again, the studio's CEO found himself apologizing to journalists due to Konami's delay in kicking off the promotional campaign for the project.

At a presentation on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Piotr Babieno, Bloober Team's CEO, fielded questions about the remake. He emphasized that their Polish studio, acting as an executor in this situation, is bound by confidentiality and cannot reveal any details without Konami's approval.Babieno suggested that the publisher is actively working on the advertising campaign, promising that news will surface very soon. Additionally, the developers are gearing up to share more about their joint venture with the publisher Private Division — Project S, with new information expected in the first half of the year.

Sony had previously indicated in its materials that the Silent Hill 2 remake is set for release in 2024. It's possible that Konami is preparing an extensive presentation for the upcoming PlayStation State of Play.

Notably, the game is in development for PC (Steam) and PS5.
