Skull and Bones: sad news from beta testers

Hello folks,

Regrettably, I bring you some disheartening news from the stormy seas of the Skull and Bones beta test servers. The initial feedback from players seems to be bringing nothing but turbulent winds into Ubisoft's once calm harbor. The game studio generously granted us a 6-hour window to test their long-awaited product, which has been in development for what feels like centuries. However, the reports from players on Reddit paint a rather grim picture – many experienced shutdowns after just the first hour.

According to these early reviews, players find themselves subjected to watching tedious videos, enduring endless and senseless NPC dialogues, and being coerced into repetitive quests. There appears to be a distinct lack of pirate romance, and the gameplay fails to deliver enjoyment or new experiences. To compound matters, old bugs remain unaddressed. Understandably, people are questioning why they should invest around 60 dollars in such a raw product.

Ubisoft still has two months to implement improvements, but there's speculation that the release date might be changed yet again – not an unfamiliar scenario for Ubisoft enthusiasts. We'll have to wait and see how this turbulent journey unfolds.
