FromSoftware will shut down the servers for Dark Souls 2 on PS3 and Xbox 360 in March 2024.
FromSoftware has announced the shutdown of the Dark Souls 2 servers on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, scheduled to take place on March 31, 2024.
After the server shutdown, users will lose access to online gameplay. Those interested can continue playing offline. The servers for Dark Souls 2 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One will continue to operate without any changes.
Originally released in 2014, Dark Souls 2 saw a remastered version titled Dark Souls 2 - Scholar of the First Sin in 2015.
Incidentally, on the same day, March 31, 2024, servers for another game, Armored Core: Verdict Day on PS3 and Xbox 360, will also be shut down. Story missions will remain available for offline completion.
