Judgment Day Opener and Confrontation with Sami Zayn

The show kicked off with our beloved "Mommy," Rhea Ripley, accompanied by Dominik and JD McDonagh. Mommy set the tone with, "Judgment Day is happening on Monday Night Raw right now, and it's not just words." She shared today's Judgment Day plans, with JD in the main event against champion Seth Rollins and Dirty Dominik taking on Ricochet. More importantly, Rhea is waiting to see if Drew McIntyre or Seth Rollins will accept her offer. At Crown Jewel, Mommy promises to beat all her opponents and retain her Women's Championship.

During Rhea's speech, Sami Zayn made a strong statement: "I will fight alone against all of Judgment Day until I can breathe! I am so sick and tired of hearing about your dominance, titles, and how cool you all are. I will not let Bloodline 2.0 happen on Monday Night Raw. My name will be Riot!" Judgment Day couldn't let this stand and decided to teach Zayn a lesson, but Ricochet immediately ran to Sami's aid. The first match is about to begin.

Dom Mysterio vs Ricochet

For some reason, Sami left ringside. JD and Mommy were in Dominik's corner, and there's no doubt they'd interfere in the match. If you've been following our news reports, you might recall that most of Ricochet's losses are due to outside interferences or tricks. Ricochet, extremely talented and impressive in the ring, dominated most of the match against the North American Champion. We witnessed several spectacular high-flying moments. In the end, when Ricochet aimed to perform a 450 splash, Rhea and JD distracted the good guy, allowing Dom to secure a dirty roll-up. Judgment Day emerged victorious. Regardless, Ricochet could seek revenge with a Recoil on Dirty Dominik. Perhaps, in the near future, Ricochet will challenge Mysterio for his North American Championship.

The Creed Brothers vs The Alpha Academy

Next up, a new debut team on the main roster The Diamond Mine: Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, and Ivy Nile, young talents from NXT. They faced off against Alpha Academy and Akira Tozawa. Following a Twitter confrontation, the Creeds, gifted athletes with brutal strength and a combination of technical and wrestling skills, engaged in a solid match with close pinfalls. The crowd was loud, cheering both teams. Even the girls got involved outside the ring, with Ivy delivering a German Suplex to poor Akira. The brothers sealed the deal with their team finisher. Welcome to Raw!

Intercontinental Champion Gunther Confronts The Miz on "Miz TV"

The Miz, WWE's most massive superstar, hosted "Miz TV" and invited Intercontinental Champion Gunther. Gunther, unstoppable and serious, managed to defend his title single-handedly. Miz, in his usual style, made the show entertaining. Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci made an appearance, leading to a confrontation. When things got tense between Imperium members, the Ring General himself, Gunther, entered the scene. Gunther expressed his lack of respect for Miz, which didn't surprise anyone. Miz, on his part, threw down a challenge to the Ring General, asserting he had no problem making the title great again. A big boot from Gunther ended Miz's attempted attack. Will Miz become Gunther's new opponent?

DIY vs Imperium

Following Miz TV, we witnessed a tag team match between DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) and Imperium. It was a dynamic match, but the result wasn't surprising. DIY sealed the deal with "Meeting in the Middle" on Vinci. Unfortunately, Vinci's numerous losses might lead to his rejection from Imperium. Congratulations to the winners.

Xia Li vs Candice LeRae

In a personal vendetta, Xia Li attacked Candice backstage last week. This week, LeRae sought revenge, but Xia finished her off in a matter of minutes. Despite the referee's decision that Candice couldn't continue, it was not an impressive match. Perhaps, in the future, Indi Hartwell and LeRae will try to win in a handicap match?

Seth "Freakin" Rollins vs JD McDonagh

The champion, Seth Rollins, fired up the crowd as usual. With Crown Jewel approaching, Seth paid respects to Drew, calling him a fighting and proud champion. However, JD McDonagh interrupted Rollins and attacked him from behind. Rhea's motive in sending JD to face Seth remained unclear. Irish Ace did his best, but every attack he made was immediately countered by the champion. Despite Damian Priest's interference, the match's outcome was predictable.

Chelsea Green vs Natalya in a Trick or Street Fight

A relaxing match for the audience featured beautiful women in hot suits fighting around the ring with various thematic tools. Natalya suffered a legal assault from Piper Niven, allowing Chelsea to secure the win with an "Un-Pretty-Her."

Damian Priest vs Sami Zayn

The main event, orchestrated by Mommy, was a burial for Sami Zayn. Despite a clean and solid match, Finn's interference didn't change the match's outcome. Judgment Day had a numerical advantage over the good guys until Cody Rhodes made a surprise appearance. Together, faces and heels clashed, with Rhodes delivering several Crossroads to JD. McDonagh's survival after this assault remains uncertain. Cody questioned why Damian, with his physique and talent, wasn't the leader of Judgment Day. At Crown Jewel, Rhodes's path will cross with Priest's.

In summary, I rate this episode 7/10. The matches were good, and storylines concluded just before Crown Jewel. The Creed Brothers' debut was impressive, and there's a new potential opponent for the Intercontinental Championship. I'm curious about the upcoming SmackDown. See you there soon!
